Ilham Aliyev congratulates Alexander Lukashenko
Baku/03.07.23/Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated the head of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on the occasion of the national holiday of this country – Independence Day.
"Our countries are traditionally linked by close relations of friendship, cooperation and mutual support. This year we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Belarus. It is gratifying that in a short period of time by historical standards, we managed not only to preserve and multiply the positive results of the common past, but also to reach a qualitatively new level of interaction," the message reads.
Aliyev expressed confidence that "joint efforts will continue to be aimed at further strengthening the traditional friendly ties and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the interests of our peoples and countries."—06B-
