Ilham Aliyev received commander of ground troops of Pakistan
Baku/01.11.23/Turan: On November 1, head of state Ilham Aliyev received commander of the ground troops of the Armed Forces of Pakistan Asim Munir.
Aliyev highly appreciated the continued support of the government and people of Pakistan during the period of Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan and expressed gratitude for the political support of Pakistan during the Second Karabakh War.
Aliyev noted the successful cooperation of the two countries in the field of military industry and the importance of joint military training of servicemen of the two countries.
He also stressed that Azerbaijan always supports Pakistan on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
In turn, Asim Munir congratulated Azerbaijan on the victory in the Second Karabakh War and the anti-terrorist operation in September this year. According to him, this was met with great joy in Pakistan. He also expressed gratitude for the support on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
