Ilham Aliyev received Speaker of Estonian Parliament
Baku/ 25.05.22/Turan: On Wednesday, head of the state Ilham Aliyev received the Estonian parliamentary delegation led by speaker Juri Ratas.
Aliyev called the visit of the Estonian delegation important for further development of bilateral relations and inter-parliamentary ties.
Touching upon the EU-Azerbaijan relations, Aliyev highly appreciated his recent meetings in Brussels and emphasized the great role of the head of the European Council Charles Michel in resolving the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
He also stressed the great importance of economic cooperation with the European Union and, above all, in the energy sector. This cooperation is of particular importance in terms of the prospects for transport and infrastructure corridors between Europe and Asia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation, the official statement said. -02D-
