Ilham Aliyev�s Trip to Shamakhi
Baku / 07.02.19 / Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived on February 7 in Shamakhi, where an earthquake occurred two days ago.
The head of state heard information from the head of the Emergencies Ministry, Kamaleddin Heydarov, and the head of the district administration, Tahir Mammadov, on the consequences of the earthquake.
The President examined the buildings affected by the earthquake, and talked with local residents.
Late in the evening of February 5, two earthquakes occurred in the Shirvan region, with 6 and 5 points in the epicenter. As a result of the earthquake, dozens of buildings in the Shamakhi and Agsu regions were damaged. There were no casualties. - 06D-
