Baku/16.08.19 / Turan: Social networks spread information about the renaming of the street named after the founder of the Azerbaijan People"s Republic, Mamedemin Rasulzade, in the Baku suburb of Sabunchi.
A user Yusif Suleymanov wrote on the Internet, the street is named after Nikolai Baibakov, a native of Baku who headed the USSR State Planning Commission for many years.
In turn, the Sabunchu district executive authorities did not give a direct answer to Turan"s request.
"The issue of renaming streets is in the competence of the Cabinet of Ministers," the district administration said.
