Israeli Foreign Ministry does not agree with the Knesset Committee on the "genocide" of Armenians
The assessments of the Committee on Education, Culture and Sports of the Knesset (parliament) of Israel in Ottoman Turkey 1915 events did not coincide with the estimates of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon, the Committee's decision does not reflect the official position of the State of Israel. According to him, this is just a personal opinion of the Committee members.
