Italian Doctors to Exchange Experience in Fight against Coronavirus
Baku /04.08.20/ Turan: A delegation of Italian doctors arrived in Baku on August 3 to assist in the fight against coronavirus infection.
The doctors of the Italian Civil Defense Department arrived in Baku on a special flight to support Azerbaijan in the fight against COVID-19. The team consists of six doctors and nurses. Among them are specialists from the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, the Italian Embassy in Azerbaijan said.
The head of the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TƏBIB) Ramin Bayramli noted that Italian doctors will exchange experience with local specialists in the treatment and prevention of coronavirus within two weeks. The guests will visit specialized hospitals and get acquainted with treatment measures, hospital equipment and the level of training of doctors. -0-
