Khudaferin Released (UPDATED)
Baku. 18.10.20. Turan: The pearl of medieval architecture, the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, the Khudaferin bridge, was liberated during today's battles in the Jabrayil region.
Built in the 12th century across the Araz River, this 15 span bridge served for centuries as a road between South and North Azerbaijan.
The bridge was occupied by the Armenians during the fighting in 1993, and today this architectural monument - the symbol of the Jabrayil region, was liberated by the special forces of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, who hoisted the flag of Azerbaijan on it.

Azerbaijani Armed Forces Fighting Near Khudaferin Water Reservoir
Baku / 18.10.20 / Turan: On the morning of October 18, the Armenian Ministry of Defense announced the advancement of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the direction of the Khudaferin reservoir, which is on the border of Azerbaijan and Iran in the Jabrayil region.
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia admits the losses in manpower and equipment in this area and the occupation of heights by the Azerbaijani troops in the reservoir area.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has not yet confirmed this, but reports on the violation of the ceasefire regime by the Armenians.
Internet users from Iran have posted a video of Azerbaijani soldiers taking positions near the historic Khudaferin bridge and the Iranian citizens greeting them from the opposite bank of the Araz River and shouting «Azerbaijan!», "Glory to the Azerbaijani soldier!". -02B-
