Leader "Musavat" urged the authorities to declare "Golden Amnesty"
Baku / 13.04.18 / Turan: The leader of the "Musavat" party Arif Hajili made an initiative to declare a "Golden Amnesty" in the country on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan People's Republic. According to him, the amnesty should be extended to political prisoners. "There are about 150 political prisoners in Azerbaijan. In addition, tens of thousands of prisoners languish in prisons due to the fact that they did not have the financial means to pay bribes to the police, prosecutors, judges. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the ANR, an amnesty must be declared and thousands of prisoners released," Hajili said at a news conference. -03D-
