Macron in Armenian language demanded from Azerbaijan to withdraw troops
Baku/14.05.21/Turan: French President Emmanuel Macron on his Facebook stated the need to withdraw Azerbaijani troops from the territory of Armenia. “Azerbaijani troops entered the Armenian territory. They must return immediately,” he wrote in Armenian. France has supported and will continue to support the Armenian people, he added.
On the evening of May 13, Macron discussed this topic during a telephone conversation with the acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
“France stands for the settlement of the tense situation in the region through the UN Security Council. This would ensure regional stability and security,” said the press service of the Elysee Palace. Official Baku has not yet responded to this attack by the French president. -02D-
