Macron urged to respect the territorial integrity of Armenia
Baku/27.09.22/Turan: On September 27, the President of France had a telephone conversation with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, after receiving the Prime Minister of Armenia, Mr. Nikol Pashinyan, in Paris the day before. This is stated in the message of the press service of President Macron on Tuesday.
“The head of state repeated to his Azerbaijani counterpart the call to return to the observance of the ceasefire and keep the forces at their original positions. He also recalled his demand for respect for the territorial integrity of Armenia,” the press release reads.
Macron also informed President Aliyev "of Prime Minister Pashinyan's readiness to continue negotiations on all outstanding issues and France's readiness to contribute to them," the press release noted.
In turn, the press service of the head of Azerbaijan reported that Ilham Aliyev thanked Macron for the information.
“During the conversation, a discussion took place about the clashes on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. The Presidents talked about the imminent start of peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia”.-02D-

On September 16, Georgia’s Migration Service refused to grant asylum to Afghan Sadigov, an Azerbaijani citizen and founder of the Azel TV website, Sevinc Sadigova, Sadigov’s wife confirmed this information to the Turan agency. “Afghan called me from detention and said he received a response from the Migration Service, which states that his application for political asylum has been denied,” she reported. The Georgian authorities justified their refusal by citing the "lack of political motives in his case," Sevinc Sadigova added. The Baku Appeals Court has rejected the complaint filed by Mustafa Hajibeyli, the deputy chairman of the Musavat Party, regarding violations during the early parliamentary elections. The complaint concerned violations in the 8th Binagadi First electoral district, where Gadzhibeyli was a candidate. “The CEC did not acknowledge any violations at the polling stations in this district,” Hajibeyli said. The complaint was 11 pages long, with 21 pages of reports, 16 pages of decisions from the district and CEC, and a DVD containing video and photos documenting alleged fraud.
