Mamedyarov's meeting with Pompeo
Brussels/12.07.18/Turan: A meeting of the foreign ministers and defense of the United States and Azerbaijan met on Thursday, in Brussels, within the framework of the NATO summit.
Elmar Mammadyarov and Zakir Hasanov discussed with Mike Pompeo and James Matthies, the development of bilateral relations and regional issues. "The Foreign Minister expressed the importance of supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan in the final communique of the NATO summit," the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
The American side expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for supporting the NATO mission in Afghanistan and the fight against terrorism, the report said. -02D-
