Baku/18.07.23 /Turan: On the eve of Baku, Deputy Defense Minister, Commander of the Azerbaijani Air Force Ramiz Tairov met with a delegation led by Deputy Head of the Military Department, Commander of the Georgian Ground Forces Zaza Chkhaidze.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, during the meeting, "the importance of developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia in the field of military aviation and air defense, as well as in other areas, was emphasized."
The sides held a detailed exchange of views on issues of ensuring peace and security in the region, prospects for the development of military cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.---06B---

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. During the mentioned period, the police found 1 machine gun, 50 grenades, 7 fuses, 3 shells and 320 cartridges of different calibre in Shusha.
