Member of Ruling Party Announced His Resignation from Its Ranks, Transfer to National Council Due to Pressure on Jamil Hasanli
Baku/30.03.21/Turan: Member of the Sabail regional branch of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Elvar Mirzaoglu announced his resignation from its ranks.
As Mirzaoglu wrote on his Facebook account, he did so in protest against the interference in the privacy of the daughter of the head of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) Jamil Hasanli.
In this regard, Mirzaoglu appealed to the Chairman of the NAP, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
In his message, he notes that recently there has been serious interference in the private life of people involved in social and political activities in Azerbaijan.
At the same time, the authorities do not take any practical measures to prevent the spread of illegal, secretly filmed videos of the intimate life of these people or their family members.
Expressing concern about this, Mirzaoglu does not exclude the involvement of state structures in one form or another in the dissemination of these footage.
Such unethical and illegal actions in the country prompted Mirzaoglu to resign from the party led by Ilham Aliyev.
In his opinion, an atmosphere of immorality reigns in the country and NAP is silent about such monstrous acts.
“I am already worried about my children and relatives. Because the secret of private life in the country is not protected by the state, but, on the contrary, becomes public,” Mirzaoglu said.
“In the most vile and dishonorable form, this happened in relation to the family of the chairman of the National Council, world famous scientist, Professor Jamil Hasanli,” he writes.
"I quit the ranks of the New Azerbaijan Party, of which I am a member, and I ask the chairman of the National Council, Professor Jamil Hasanli to accept me to the National Council," Mirzaoglu said. -05D06-
