Moscow and Baku discuss the situation around “Iskander” - Peskov
Moscow/13.04.21/Turan: The topic related to Baku's information about the discovery of “Iskander-M” missile debris in Nagorno-Karabakh is being discussed in a close dialogue between the military of Russia and Azerbaijan. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday about this, TASS reported.
"A close dialogue is being carried out along the line of the military, during which all relevant issues are discussed," Peskov said when asked whether the topic of the discovery of “Iskander” wreckage was raised in a telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev.
Peskov responded negatively to the question whether the topic of the Russian Mi-24 helicopter shot down in November over Armenia near the border with Azerbaijan was also discussed during the conversation between Putin and Aliyev.
Aliyev said on Tuesday that Moscow does not respond to Baku's claims and does not respond to inquiries, as the city of Shusha in Karabakh was fired upon by “Iskander-M” missiles, which are in service with the Russian Armed Forces and which Armenia does not have. -02D-

It is difficult to predict the future of Azerbaijan-U.S. relations under Donald Trump, said Ali Kerimli, leader of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (PFPA), in an interview with Turan agency. "Since Trump's team has not yet been formed, it is unclear who will be appointed Secretary of State, who is responsible for foreign policy. It is also unclear what priorities Trump's team will have for the Caucasus region," Kerimli noted. At the same time, certain assumptions can be made about Trump's policy.
