Moscow SIIR Rector Awarded Dostlug Order of Azerbaijan
Baku / 25.08.20 / Turan: By order of the head of state, the rector of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIIR) Anatoly Torkunov has been awarded the Dostlug (Friendship) Order.
He was awarded this award for "special merits in strengthening cooperation and mutual ties in the field of education between Azerbaijan and Russia," the text of the decree of the President of Azerbaijan says.
Let us recall that Ilham Aliyev is a graduate of this Russian university. -02D-

Today, the Baku Appellate Court reviewed Bahruz Samadov's appeal against the illegal search of his apartment and upheld the decision of the Sabail District Court dated September 5, lawyer Zibeyda Sadigova told Turan. According to her, the search of Samadov’s apartment was conducted without a court order, and without the presence of Samadov or his lawyer. Consequently, the defense requested that the search protocol be declared illegal and that the seized items be returned.
