Musavat intends to hold an action, if it is not even authorized, M.Hajibeyli
Baku / 07.11.19 / Turan: The executive power of Baku did not allow the Musavat party to hold a picket in front of the city administration on November 12 in protest against the restriction of freedom of assembly, reported the head of the press service of Musavat, Mustafa Hajibeyli.
The executive power motivated the refusal by “traffic density and pedestrians” at the location of the city administration.
“The response letter also states, “There is a higher education institution.” The refusal of the city government is illegal. We will discuss the next steps and consider the issue of holding the action, if it is not even agreed upon,” Hajibeyli said.
* Musavat rally was planned for November 10. However, the Baku Executive Power proposed that the party hold an action in the village of Lokbatan.
Musavat found this proposal unacceptable and announced that On November 10 it would hold a rally in protest against a violation of freedom of assembly. The rally will be held in front of the Executive power. — 06D--
