New ambassadors of Azerbaijan appointed in Indonesia, Mexico and Greece
Baku / 09.27.19 / Turan: By the order of President Ilham Aliyev, Jalal Mirzoyev was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Indonesia. Previously, he worked as an adviser at the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Netherlands and the country's representation in the Council of Europe.
By another decree of the president, Mammad Talybov was appointed to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Mexico. Previously he worked as an adviser to the Embassy of Mexico, as well as the country's diplomatic mission to the United States.
By another decree of the head of state, Anar Huseynov, became Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Greece. Previously, he worked as an adviser in the diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan in Athens. - 06D--

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.
