New Executive Director of the Foundation for the Propagation of Spiritual Values is appointed
Baku / 22.12.17 / Turan: Executive director and members of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Propagation of Spiritual Values were appointed.
According to the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, Mehman Ismayilov, Doctor of Philosophy in theology, was appointed Executive Director of the Fund. Previously, he served as a representative of the State Committee in Zagatala region.
The first deputy chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, mufti Salman Musayev, was elected chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees.
The members of the Board of Trustees were: deputy of the parliament Sahib Gafarov, deputy chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Ainur Sofiyeva, Director of the Institute of Manuscripts of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Teymur Kerimli, editor of the Ses newspaper, Bahruz Guliyev.
The foundation was created to support the projects of religious communities. Recently, a decision was made to fund the salaries of clergymen of mosques controlled by the Caucasian Muslims Department. -05D06-
