New heads of Narimanov, Nizami districts and Kurdamir region appointed
Baku/18.02.22/Turan: Heads of two Baku districts, and Kurdamir region of the country have been appointed by directives of the head of the state.
Thus, Elgin Khabibullayev, who previously headed the apparatus of the Baku City Hall, has been appointed head of Narimanov district.
Joshgun Jabrail, who headed the department of the Baku City Hall, has been appointed head of Nizami district of the capital.
Elkhan Ibragimov, who was deputy head of Shamakha region of the country, has been appointed head of Kurdamir region. -02D-

On January 6, speaking at a conference of ambassadors, French President Emmanuel Macron said that Russia had changed its allied relations with Armenia and supported Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh. This information was shared today during a meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC) by its Chairman, Mazahir Panahov. According to Panahov, 8,429 candidates represent 23 political parties. He also mentioned that today marks the beginning of the election campaign period, which will end 24 hours before voting starts, at 08:00 on January 28.
