Ninth meeting of the Azerbaijani-Russian Demarcation Commission
Baku / 09.07.21 / Turan: The ninth meeting of the Joint Azerbaijani-Russian Demarcation Commission was held in Baku on July 6-9, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
Note that the meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Borders and the Caspian Sea H. Khalafov and head of the Russian delegation to the Joint Russian-Azerbaijani Demarcation Commission Amir Bilyalitdinov.
The meeting discussed questions arising from the continuation of the demarcation process, approved documents required for organization and conduct of field demarcation work.
It should be emphasized that the installation of border signs will continue in keeping with the work plan of the Joint Azerbaijani-Russian Demarcation Commission for 2021.
The demarcation work was noted for constructive work of specialists from both states. Also, the meeting was held in the spirit of good-neighborliness and constructive dialogue.
The next meeting of the Joint Commission will be held on the territory of the Russian Federation. Dates of the meeting will be agreed through diplomatic channels.—06D-
