No progress achieved in negotiations with Armenia – Jeyhun Bayramov
Baku/08.05.23/Turan: No progress was achieved at the recent negotiations in Washington over the fundamental differences between Baku and Yerevan. This was stated to Lithuanian media on Monday by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who is on an official visit to Lithuania.
Speaking at a briefing in Vilnius following talks with his Lithuanian counterpart Garbielis Landsbergis, he stated that despite some dynamics in bilateral contacts, no progress on a peace treaty, the delimitation of state borders and the restoration of transport and communication links had been achieved.
"The best way to normalize relations between the two countries is based on mutual recognition and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity," Bayramov said. -02D-
