Non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council Azerbaijan completed
On December 31, 2013 non-permanent membership of Azerbaijan in the UN Security Council, which lasted from 2012, completed.
In this period Azerbaijan twice chaired the UN Security Council - in May 2012 and October 2013.
During this period, 59 public and private meetings of the Security Council were held, seven resolutions were adopted, three statements of the Security Council President and 13 statements to the press were adopted, reads the statement of the permanent representation of Azerbaijan in UN.-03D-
