Number of diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan reaches 86
Currently 55 foreign embassies of Azerbaijan, five representative offices, nine general consulates, and 18 missions to international organizations operate abroad.
In turn, in Azerbaijan function 53 embassy, three general consulates, 12 honorary consulates, and representatives of 20 international organizations.
This statistics was noted in the statement released on September 27 in the speech of the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov at the Fourth meeting of the heads of the diplomatic service of Azerbaijan. According to the same source, it was decided to open the Azerbaijani embassy in Australia.—06D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
