PACE rapporteur calls on Azerbaijan not to block Desir’s mandate
Baku/14.07.20/Turan: PACE’s General Rapporteur on media freedom and safety of journalists Stefan Schennach has expressed his profound regret by the decision of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan to block the renewal of the mandate of Harlem Désir, OSCE RFoM. “I urge participating States to renew his mandate.”
Earlier, 29 international human rights organizations also called on Azerbaijan not to block Desir’s mandate. — 16D-
