Pashinyan Makes War Inevitable - Tofig Zulfugarov
Baku / 29.01.20 / Turan: Pashinyan makes the resumption of hostilities between Azerbaijan and Armenia inevitable - this is a fact. The only question is when this will happen. The former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Tofig Zulfugarov wrote about this on his Facebook page.
After the forum in Valdai, Russia, the last attempt by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to resume the imitation of some negotiation process ended in complete failure. By announcing the negotiation documents and reaffirming his reluctance to liberate the occupied territories and eliminate the consequences of total ethnic cleansing, the Armenian Prime Minister made a political settlement pointless for Azerbaijan, Zulfugarov continued.
So he commented on the speech of Nikol Pashinyan at a press conference in Gyumri.
Pashinyan accused Serzh Sargsyan of his readiness to return seven districts, adding that he is not against it if the Karabakh people support it. In response, all the Karabakh politicians stated that the return of Azerbaijani regions is unacceptable, since these lands are the property of Armenians.
According to Zulfugarov, the Armenian Prime Minister deliberately exacerbates the situation. -0-
