Pashinyan's Fourth Call to Putin
Moscow / 06.10.20 / Turan: Late in the evening on October 5, at the initiative of the Armenian side, Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the Kremlin press service reported.
“The discussion of the escalated armed confrontation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which has acquired a large-scale character and leads to serious losses on both sides, including civilian casualties, was continued.
Vladimir Putin reiterated the urgent need to end hostilities,” it was reported.
Armenian media do not comment on the outcome of the conversation. However, on the same day, Pashinyan appealed to the soldiers demobilized from the army to return to the ranks and go to Karabakh. -02D-

In a case that is disappointing but not surprising, the agreement between the government of Azerbaijan and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) for hosting the climate conference COP29, is replete with significant shortcomings and ambiguities on the protections for participants’ rights. Human Rights Watch has obtained a copy of this host country agreement, signed in August 2024, which has yet to be made public.
