Peacekeepers carried 200 tons of humanitarian aid to Kelbajar
Baku/23.04.21/Turan: The Russian peacekeeping contingent provided the transit of 200 tons of cargo to the Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan. These cargoes are intended for restoration of power supply and water supply systems, restoration of social facilities and residential buildings, stated a message on the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The shipment consisted of construction materials and equipment for the restoration of power supply systems.
In total, with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers, the peacekeepers transported 2,400 tons of cargo. -02D-

In late December, the Nakhchivan Court for Serious Crimes concluded the trial of former Minister of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), Rafael Aliyev, and former head of the Nakhchivan Customs Committee’s department, Mansur Askerov. Both were accused of embezzling state budget funds in collusion with others. In his testimony, Askerov revealed that illegal fees were being collected for cargo and from passengers. Sahat Habibbeyli, appointed head of Nakhchivan Customs in 2020, had instructed Askerov to include only a portion of the collected funds in the Transport and International Relations (TIR) program.
