PFPA activist released early from detention
An activist of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (PFPA) Fizuli Huseynov has been released from custody in accordance with the decision of the Sumgayit Court of Appeal. On January 27 the Absheron District Court sentenced him to 30 days of administrative arrest on charges of not subordinating police. In protest against the arrest Huseynov went on a hunger strike. At the same time he was not allowed to meet with friends and colleagues in the party. The PPFA believes that he was arrested because of the criticism of the authorities on the social networks. -03B06--
