Plan of Cooperation between Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Signed
Baku / 12.10.18 / Turan: A plan of bilateral military cooperation for the year 2019 between the Defense Ministries of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was signed the day before in Tashkent after bilateral talks.
The head of the Azerbaijani military department Zakir Hasanov is on a visit to Tashkent to attend a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the CIS Defense.
During the negotiations between Hasanov and his Uzbek counterpart Abdusalom Azizov, the parties discussed the prospects for developing ties in the defense sphere and in the field of military education, and also exchanged views on strengthening relations in the sphere of military-technical cooperation, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reports.
Uzbekistan is planning joint events with Azerbaijan to exchange experience in the field of military education. During the talks, an agreement was reached on the participation of Uzbekistan"s military experts as observers in international exercises to be held in Azerbaijan.
At the end of the meeting, the Plan of Bilateral Military Cooperation for 2019 was signed between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. -05D06-
