Police continue to detain Iranian propagandists
Baku/02.05.23/Turan: The police detained another group of people engaged in the propaganda of religious radicalism.
According to Turan, the Interior Ministry detained 16 people who, on the instructions of Iran, were engaged in undermining the secular foundations of the country.
Using drug addicts, they propagandized the ideas of religious radicalism in social networks. It is not reported exactly where the operation was performed.
It has to be kept in mind that in recent months the number of detained persons of this category has exceeded one hundred. -02D-

The health of economist Fazil Gasimov, who is on hunger strike for the 43rd day, has deteriorated sharply. On the night of July 26, he was transferred from the Baku pre-trial detention center-1 to a medical institution of the Penitentiary Service, the economist's brother Nazim Gasimov told Turan.

On July 26, the trial of public activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev continued in the Baku Serious Crimes Court. Three witnesses were heard.
