Political parties of Azerbaijan supported the anti-terrorist operation in Karabakh
Baku/19.09.23/Turan: Political parties of Azerbaijan publish statements in support of the counter-terrorism operation in Karabakh that has been underway since today.
The chairman of the opposition "Musavat" party, Arif Hajili, in his Facebook status, spoke about the full right of Azerbaijan to restore constitutional order on the territory of the country by all available means. Isa Gambar, former chairman of the same party, Chairman of the National Center for Strategic Thinking made a similar statement.
Chairman of the Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli expressed confidence that Azerbaijan will restore full jurisdiction over Karabakh.
The "Republican Alternative" Party also supported the objectives of the operation and stated that it would do everything possible to draw the attention of the international and local community to the fact that it is being conducted not against civilians, but against illegal military formations and their infrastructure. "From this point of view, we consider the statement of the Ministry of Defense on the creation of exit corridors for the civilian population and the work done in this direction as the right step," the party said in a statement.
23 pro-government parties, led by the ruling "Yeni Azerbaijan" party, jointly supported the authorities in carrying out the counter-terrorism operation. ----06B---
