Rally to support Ilham Aliyev in Sumgayit
At the end of the election campaign the ruling party "Yeni Azerbaijan" has decided to hold a rally in support of Ilham Aliyev not in the capital, but in Sumgayit.
The rally was held on October 7 at the stadium "Inshaatchilar." As usual, the candidate did not come to the meeting. His representatives poke instead of him, but it has not caused much interest among students and civil servants, forcibly brought to the meeting. The audience responded to the speeches by smattering of applause.
Many people wanted to leave the event, but the gates were locked. They managed to provide the participation of a few thousand people. –08C06-
