Baku/22.07.21/Turan: The organization in defense of press freedom "Reporters without Borders" is outraged by the fact that 200 journalists from 20 countries are being spied on with the help of the Israeli spy system Pegasus.
“Reporters without Borders” has announced its intention to take legal action against those responsible for this massive surveillance, the organization said in a statement.
“The reports of the use of Pegasus spyware are shocking and disgusting given the scale of the surveillance. It is a disgusting tool designed to persecute journalists,” said Christophe Deloire, Secretary General of the RBG.
“We will do everything to ensure that the developer of the program, NSO Group, is punished for the crimes it committed and the tragedies that it made possible. Justice systems in democracies must address this extremely serious issue, establish the facts and punish those responsible.

At least 180 journalists from 20 countries fell victim to the clients of the Israeli spy company from 2016 to June 2021. NSO Group's clients include both authoritarian governments such as Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco and Bahrain, and democracies such as Mexico and India. ...
