Results of Saturday: Eight Villages Liberated, Enemy Suffers Losses in Manpower, Equipment
Baku / 10/04/20 / Turan: Fierce battles continued along the entire front on Saturday. Azerbaijani settlements in various directions of the front were subjected to intensive artillery and rocket attacks on the enemy. As a result of the decisive actions of the units of the Azerbaijani Army, the firing positions of the Armenian armed forces, which fired at populated areas, were suppressed in several directions, and the enemy was dealt a crushing blow, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said late on October 3.
"In the course of heavy fighting during the day, thanks to the bravery of our troops, the settlements of Sugovushan and Talysh of the Terter region, the village of Ashagi Abdurrahmanly of the Fizuli region, and the villages of Mehdili, Chakhyrly, Ashagi Maralyan, Sheybei and Guijag of the Jabrayil region were liberated from occupation," the press release said.
During the fighting in Madagiz (Sugovushan) in the Agdere direction, 4 tanks of the 77th tank battalion of the Armenian armed forces were destroyed and 3 tanks were captured as trophies.
