Richard Morningstar hopes that presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet

The U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Richard Morningstar, expressed a hope that the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold a meeting   in the near future.

However, he did not comment on the reasons of  the failure of the  meeting  of the two  leaders on June 12 in Salzburg, advising the parties to address the question to the parties of the  conflict.

In an interview with reporters  at  the conference on Creativity  of TedxBaku, Morningstar said that  the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry,  is showing interest and attention to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. John Kerry is actively communicating with both sides of the conflict, said Richard Morningstar.  -16B04-
