Richard Morningstar hopes that presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet
The U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Richard Morningstar, expressed a hope that the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold a meeting in the near future.
However, he did not comment on the reasons of the failure of the meeting of the two leaders on June 12 in Salzburg, advising the parties to address the question to the parties of the conflict.
In an interview with reporters at the conference on Creativity of TedxBaku, Morningstar said that the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, is showing interest and attention to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
