Russia supports the "Peace Crossroads" proposed by Armenia - Overchuk
Baku/15.12.23/Turan: The Russian Federation supports the implementation of the “Peace Crossroads”, presented by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk stated this at an intergovernmental meeting in Yerevan on December 15, "Armenpress" reports.
"We actually support the implementation of the "Peace Crossroads" presented by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, financing the construction of the fourth tranche of the North-South highway corridor at the expense of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development. The volume of support in this direction now is $150 million. The decision to support the construction of the Kajaran tunnel is currently at the stage of agreement between the parties. The amount of support there will be $200 million," Overchuk said.
One of the elements of the "Peace Crossroads" is the railway from Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan through the Armenian Meghri (Zangezur corridor). -0-
