Russian authorities are concerned about the issuance of passports
Deputies of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan are concerned with issuing Russian passports. At today's meeting Siyavush Novruzov called responsible organizations to monitor situation more "clearly", because local law prohibits dual citizenship. "Let who does not like Azerbaijan, become a foreign citizen, but with consequences. Fifth column should end," he added.
Official Baku is concerned with getting Russian passports by citizen extradition, the procedure of issue of which has been simplified by Moscow. According to unofficial data, the most active residents that receive passports are northern regions of Azerbaijan bordering with Dagestan. -17D-
