Russian Emergencies Ministry Sappers Come to Azerbaijan for Mine Clearance in Aghdam
Moscow / 04.01.21 / Turan: On January 4, the IL-76 aircraft of the Russian Emergencies Ministry with rescuers on board flew to Azerbaijan to carry out the tasks of demining the liberated territories in Nagorno-Karabakh. As part of a humanitarian mission, the sappers will work in the Aghdam region, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said.
The combined group of 20 people was formed from the sappers of the Leader center and employees of the Noginsk rescue center. Also, the Emergency Ministry of Russia will deliver 3 pieces of robotic equipment.
Recall that the joint Russian-Turkish Monitoring Center will operate in Aghdam to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire agreement of November 10, 2020.
Apparently, Russian specialists will be attached to this Center, which will start operating in mid-January, and will also assist in clearing the road infrastructure of Aghdam from mines. -02D-
