Russian military will join the search for MIG 29 Air Force of Azerbaijan
Baku/08.08.19/Turan: Specialists of the Caspian flotilla of the Russian Federation will join the search for the crashed MiG-29 of the Azerbaijani Air Force, said the head of the press service of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation Vadim Astafiev, RIA Novosti reported.
As part of a search squad of up to 50 people, a small hydrographic vessel Anatoly Gujvin, a rescue-towing vessel SB-45, which has equipment for surveying the bottom. It is also planned to use several underwater vehicles in searches.
The approximate area of the search area is more than 600 square kilometers; the depth is up to 40 meters. The detachment of the Caspian flotilla expects to begin exploratory work in two days. -02D-
