Russian Peacekeepers Control Situation with UAVs
Baku / 21.11.20 / Turan: Russian peacekeepers record individual minor incidents in Nagorno-Karabakh, but the ceasefire is observed, as the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent Rustam Muradov said.
"There have been no ceasefire violations and no provocations. Individual minor incidents are settled by representatives of the peacekeeping contingent on the ground," he said at a meeting chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Muradov said the Russian contingent in the zone of the peacekeeping operation has organized interaction with representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"The territory of Nagorno-Karabakh is divided into two zones of responsibility. In the North zone, the first battalion of the 15th motorized rifle brigade is performing tasks at 11 observation posts. In the South zone, Lachin corridor, the second battalion is at 12 posts. The observation posts are provided with all types of communications, including closed, space and video conferencing. Unmanned aerial vehicles are used to monitor the situation around the clock," the general said. -06B-
