Salaries of CEC Members Increased by More Than 50%
Baku / 19.06.19 / Turan: The day before, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on increasing the official salaries of the CEC (Central Election Commission) members. Since September 1, the CEC head will receive 3,060 manat, the deputy chairman - 2,845 manat, the secretary - 2,110 manat, and the CEC members - 1,200 manat.
Currently, the head of the CEC receives 2,040 manat, the deputy chairman receives 1,895 manat, the secretary receives 1,405 manat, and the CEC members receive - 1,280 manat. -06D--

On November 28, another hearing took place in the case of public activist Ilhamiz Guliyev. During the proceedings, the court reviewed a response from the 28th Police Station of the Yasamal District in Baku. At the previous hearing, the defense had requested that the court obtain footage from the surveillance cameras at this police station, where Guliyev was taken on December 4 of last year. However, the police response stated that the video footage had not been preserved.
