Separatists refuse dialogue on Karabakh reintegration
Baku/28.03.23/Turan: On March 28, the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs" of the Karabakh separatists made a lengthy comment regarding the decision call of official Baku to hold a meeting in Baku and discuss the reintegration of Karabakh into Azerbaijan.
The essence of the separatists' statement is that they will not go for voluntary reintegration and they will not discuss this issue. They are ready to hold a meeting on the basis of Russian peacekeepers and with their mediation. We are ready to discuss the "lifting of the blockade" and the opening of the Lachin road.
"The conditions of the meeting announced by the Azerbaijani side, related to the venue and its agenda, as well as the context in which this proposal was presented, indicate that the goal of the Azerbaijani authorities is not a real discussion of existing problems, but the disruption of a possible dialogue, or the imposition of their political agenda through coercion, blockade, the creation of unbearable living conditions and the use of military force," the separatists said in a statement. ---0---
