Serjik secretly visited Karabakh
Baku/14.08.21/Turan: On August 9, the ex-president of Armenia and one of the leaders of the Karabakh separatists, Serge Sargsyan, secretly arrived in Karabakh. Lost in a crowd of local residents and accompanied by Russian peacekeepers, he visited the Amaras monastery complex in the Khojavend region (formerly Martuni). On the same day, he left Karabakh.
All this became known only today - on August 14, from the reports of the Armenian media, which published pictures from the Facebook page of Sargsyan himself.
It is noteworthy that Serjik announced the secret visit a few days later, apparently fearing some actions by the Azerbaijani side. He also did not hold any meetings with the Armenian population of Karabakh.
On this trip, he was accompanied by former separatist leader Bako Sahakyan, "head of the Security Council" Vitaly Balasanyan, as well as a couple of former separatist military leaders - Mnatsakanyan and Karapetyan.
Apparently, the Russian peacekeepers did not interfere in any way with Sargsyan's visit. -02В-
