Baku/03.11.22/Turan: According to the Armenian edition of "Faktinfo", the third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan arrived in Karabakh. This information was confirmed in Sargsyan's office. The reason for the visit is not reported.
Previouslya, a member of the Turkish parliament, an ethnic Armenian Karo Paylyan met with sargsyan in Yerevan. According to the Armenian media, the deputy persuaded Sargsyan to support the idea of reconciliation between Armenia and Turkey and Azerbaijan. However, Sargsyan rejected Paylyan's initiative, calling it a "surrender".
Earlier, official Baku demanded that peacekeepers not allow those who are involved in the separatist movement and do not contribute to the reconciliation of the parties to Karabakh. So, some time ago, the former head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Raffi Hovhannisyan, was not allowed into Karabakh. Baku has not yet commented on the arrival of Sargsyan. ---02B---

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.
