Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazadeh heads religious delegation to U.S.
Baku/27.02.23/Turan: A delegation of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), headed by Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazadeh, left for the United States on Feb 27 at the invitation of several religious organizations of America.
The delegation will remain in Utah until March 4. The program includes meetings with chairman of the Senate of Utah Stuart Adams, deputy governor Deidre Henderson, leaders of religious organizations, as well as Muslim, Jewish communities and the Azerbaijani Diaspora.
As part of his visit, Pashazadeh will visit Brigham Young University, where he will give a lecture on interfaith dialogue.
Meetings will also be held at the Utah Center for International Law and Theology and the Humanitarian Center of the Church of Latter Day Saints.
The Azerbaijani delegation includes representatives of the Baku International Centre for Multiculturalism, the State Committee for Work with Religious Organisations, the leaders of the Highland Jewish Community, the Albanian-Udi Christian Religious Community and the Catholic Community of Azerbaijan. -05D-

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has expressed condolences to the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, following the tragic incident in the city of Magdeburg. "We are deeply shocked by the news of the deaths and injuries resulting from the tragic incident that took place at the Christmas market in Magdeburg," the message reads.
