On May 18 Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazade, the head of the Caucasus Muslims Board, will visit Iran, according to informed sources told Turan. He will be accompanied by a large delegation of MPs and religious leaders. During the visit they will meet with government officials and religious leaders.
According to unofficial reports, one of the issued to discuss will be the fate of the Azerbaijani literary critic, the arrested Khalida Khalid.
Prior to his trip to Iran, Pashazade will participate in the opening of the newly restored "Juma" mosque in Shamakha, which was restored for over two years. -05B04-
