State Department representative to hold meetings with civil society and political parties
Baku/13.06.22/Turan: Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Kara McDonald arrived in Azerbaijan.
On June 13-15, she will have meetings with government officials, human rights activists, representatives of independent media and political parties, the message of the US Embassy in Baku.
At the State Department, Kara McDonald oversees the work of the Bureau for Europe, South and Central Asia and the multilateral affairs team.
The Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor upholds universal values, including the rule of law, human rights and fundamental freedoms. -0-
