Subversive actions against Azerbaijan will be firmly suppressed - Head of State Security Service
Baku/26.10.21/Turan: Azerbaijani special services are tracing the involvement of Azerbaijani citizens abroad in illegal armed formations. This was stated by the head of the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan, Ali Nagiyev, speaking at the opening ceremony of the "National Security" course.
According to him, the SSS is taking measures to neutralize the intelligence-subversive activity of foreign special services against Azerbaijan.
In this connection, he emphasized that a matter of concern is the joining of some citizens of Azerbaijan to the illegal armed formations abroad, their participation in the centers of armed conflicts, their going through military exercises.
Attempts of these persons to commit actions of terrorist and provocation on the territory of Azerbaijan in the future and all other activities aimed at destabilizing the situation in Azerbaijan and against its national security will be strongly suppressed, Nagiyev said.-0-
