Baku/01.02.21/Turan: The powers of Sudaba Hasanova, a judge of the Constitutional Court have been terminated due to reaching the age limit for service. The Constitutional Court confirmed the information.
A native of the Sharur region of Nakhchivan, Hasanova became scandalously famous in 1998-2000 when she led the Ministry of Justice, she said, "democracy must be strangled in the cradle."
In 2000-2005, she headed the Supreme Court, where her work was also received ambiguously by the public. In 2005, she was transferred to the Constitutional Court as a judge.
Hasanova will be replaced by Humay Elchin gizi Efendiyeva, who was appointed by the parliament today on the proposal of the president. Efendiyeva is the daughter of the former Deputy Prime Minister, writer Elchin Efendiyev. — 06D--
